Hurricane Issac. How ironic. On the year of a summer drought, the hurricane decided to hit the Midwest on Nathan and Ashlee’s wedding day! I sat down with Ashlee while she was getting her hair done to talk about how we should approach the day. Should we stay inside and hide or should we celebrate the weather knowing that, as one photographer has said, “How beautiful if it rains! Anytime it rains again, you’ll think of your wedding day!” We chose to take the positive approach. And so, with Nathan and Ashlee’s joyful spirits, unruffled demeanors, and up for anything attitudes WE (Troy & I) sought to tell the story of their beautiful day– rain and all!
