I spent the weekend in our nation’s capital with some of my best friends from college. I just realized that we’ve known each other for 19 years. I met these girls when I was 18. I planned to be a high school biology teacher, listened to Boyz II Men, dreamt of Destiny Man (the boy that had about every class with me during my first semester of college), typed papers on my word processor, wore white jean shorts, and loved hairspray. We had our lives before us… And now we’re living them.
