I'm a freckled girl with red hair, but doggone it, I never looked like this when I was a senior! It was quite hard to choose, but here's a few of my favorites from Jenna's session:

I can't tell you how many people walk into my house, look at my family pictures, and ask, "Did you take those?"

I didn't. They're FAMILY pictures. I'm in the pictures. I did not take them :)

So the question becomes, who does the photographer go to for her family pictures?

This year we travelled to Michigan to swap services with my friend Molly of Molly Bea Photography.

Molly and I were friends from when I lived in Michigan. We were new moms with husbands in ministry together.

Wes and Molly are two of our favorite people in Michigan. I so enjoyed capturing "them."

She wanted to be a princess, but I somehow talked her into wearing my old clown costume.

I've been photographing this little guy since he was a newborn. Maybe you remember his football picture:

Well, he just turned ONE! Pretty soon he's going to be THROWING those footballs.

It's that time of year... I had my first cup of hot chocolate yesterday, and I'm planning a trip to the apple orchard on Saturday. I love the fall.

We found a little bit of fall at this photo session two weeks ago. The grass was green, it was warm outside, and there just happened to be a pile of leaves under a nearby tree. Perfect.

My college roommate and decided to plan a getaway trip this fall. We decided on Vegas. I had never been there, the weather would be nice in October, and the shopping was supposed to be fantastic. It was.

Now back to reality.

I think the drool in this picture is just perfect :) I love capturing real life moments, and heck, what better way to represent a beautiful, teething, six month old!

We were giggling at Quinn's "flying" technique during her session. Seriously. She's just too cute.

It started to POUR rain in the middle of our session, but thankfully there was a tiny awning nearby. I told Arielle, "Let's keep shooting; they'll probably end up to be our favorites!" Guess what, Ari? They're my favorites!!

I love the wrinkles on his brow!

Generally speaking, while preparing a gallery, it's obvious to me when a picture should be turned to black and white. Here are two examples, though, that I liked both ways. What's your opinion?

My dear friend, Beth, is not only a good friend but a great designer. We have a trade agreement. She helps me decorate my home, and I take her families' pictures. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me!

B was one of my best friends in college. We're the ones that sat around on a Friday night crocheting (wait, did I just admit that?) while our friends were with their boyfriends. Our lives have certainly changed! Look at her "babies" all grown up!
